Filla Crack’s Drag Cabaret
Background
Our resident queen takes over the main stage for two nights in the summer. And she promises a night full of fun, comedy, dance, burlseque and general sillness with some great local cabaret stars. Now, if you’re familiar with Filla from our Bistro, you know to expect a tremendous atmosphere. But imagine her being bigger, louder, prouder and with more sequins than ever before! Yes, we move her cove of love and freedom right up to the auditorium. Just think of what she may get up to!
Now, life doesn’t have to be a drag, and we all need some escapism after the past year. And that’s exactly what the queen and her special guests will offer in this safe and warm location. Make sure to book your tickets now, because it’s always a sell-out when Miss Crack is heading to the stage.
Creatives
Ashleigh Owen is both a star performer and writer of this show.
Cast
Indeed, Ashleigh Owen is a big part of this show, bringing a side-splitting musical journey along with hilariously daft comic songs. Then, there’s the risque but cheesecake nature of Baby Daisy; a sweet bad ass! Sure, she’s sex pot crazy, but she’s also a blonde babe bombshell. Furthermore, she manages to satisfy as a sweetheart while creating chaos through her bumps and grinds. And finally we have Lady Se-Anne, whose history has so much to offer. Indeed, from bingo calling to winning Butlins talent competitions and comedy festivals, she has done it all. Furthermore, she would appear in many TV shows such as Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Tin Star. But as someone with Everyman Theatre experience as a youth, she has great excitement about returning to this theatre!
Venue
Liverpool’s Everyman Theatre is instantly recognisable due to the light-up photographic panels outside the venue. But it’s also striking due to its plethora of topnotch plays, musicals, comedies and spoken word shows. Furthermore, its circular interior and its intimate capacity of 400 make for a pleasant and unique theatre experience. And it sits as part of Hope Street, right in the heart of Liverpool’s culturally-diverse student region. This also allows attendees to sample the city’s incredible nightlife in nearby bars after a show. So, the Everyman Theatre is a superb option if you wish to sample a Liverpool theatre show.
