Furthermore, the battle continues via the Black Lives Matter protests and also the 2020 US Presidential elections.

But Duke has around an hour, seventy minutes at most, to say what he needs to say. Indeed, he wants to say what he feels he has to say. Basically, he wants to get everything off his chest and out into the open. Carl Rice is both the star and writer of this show.

          The Unforgettable Anna May Wong – Sunday July 18 2021 – 20.00

This is the story of Anna May Wong. Now, she would have a dramatic rise in personal fortunes. More specifically, she would rise from a laundry girl to one of 1930s Hollywood’s and Europe’s biggest stars. And this show is a tribute to the incredible legacy that she would leave behind. Furthermore, there are many songs and film clips offering up pleasant nostalgia.

          Venue

St. Luke’s Church is more notable amongst Liverpudlians as being the Bombed Out Church. And that’s because of the impact of the Blitz during the Second World War on the church. But its history dates back to its original opening between 1811 and 1832. Furthermore, it remains a cultural landmark for those within the city. And it now acts as a hidden gem for the city with live entertainment and refreshments available for locals. Best of all, it acts as the home base for the Liverpool Theatre Festival. Why not come along to the festival to check out the church yourself?
