Paloma Faith
Background
The year 2021 sees Paloma hitting the road again for a huge 26-date UK tour. But be aware: this is a new Paloma. It’s a Paloma who invites not the show business veteran but the young art student whose creativity guides her. Faith would write songs for her new album Infinite Things before tearing them all up and starting afresh. So, Paloma would spend her downtime creating, engineering her own music and just thinking about the world. And she now emerges from lockdown with a new sense of her priorities, reconnecting her with her creative roots. Furthermore, this special live show will feature a special guest in Josef Salvat.
Performer
Paloma Faith’s vocal talents are extraordinary. Her pitch, cadence, honesty and passion make her both a top-level singer and a truly unique artists. Now, her hits to date include Stone Cold Sober, Picking Up The Pieces and Only Love Can Hurt Like This. Not forgetting Crybaby, Lullaby, Make Your Own Kind Of Music and Gold. So, Paloma’s fans will hear all of these tracks as more and Faith’s career enters its next chapter.
Venue
Liverpool’s Empire Theatre is a true mainstay of the city, ever since the venue’s initial opening in 1866. But a demolition of the original Empire would lead to the modern Empire opening in 1924. From there, the Empire would become a focal point for the UK’s top touring theatre shows. Indeed, so many iconic productions regularly come to Liverpool’s Empire Theatre. Furthermore, the list of performers to grace the Empire stage over the years reads like a who’s who. In addition, the Empire’s location is pivotal, with its positioning directly in front of Lime Street Station. The Empire has a total capacity of 2,381, with frequent sell-outs throughout the annual theatre calendar. Simply put, the Empire Theatre is amongst the UK’s top entertainment venues and an ideal backdrop for a classic night of theatre.
Tour
The tour begins at Oxford’s New Theatre on September 16 2021. Then, Paloma moves onto Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Sheffield and Nottingham. Subsequent stop-offs include Southend, Harrogate, Ipswich, Bournemouth, Hull, Stockton-On-Tees, Stoke-On-Trent, Bath and Torquay.
