Reginald D Hunter
Background
Climate change, huge unemployment, economic pandemics and the rise of global fascism. Think of all of those things. And then ask yourself: what the fuck could this man possibly say that could upset you? So, welcome to the world of the Bombe Shuffleur. Indeed, this is Reginald’s brand new show, and he’s not here to play nice. Indeed, he’s willing to tackle any subject head-on, even those that we all skirt around. Furthermore, he’s the voice of his generation due to total honesty, brutal comedy and his unique perspective on life melting down around us. So, see why everybody wants to hear what Reginald has to say about subjects they usually don’t want to hear about!
Performer
Reginald is over 20 years on from moving to the United Kingdom from the United States. And with three Perrier Award nominations under his belt, he now has a strong reputation of providing incredible unadulterated comedy. So, his TV credits include Have I Got News For You, Live At The Apollo and 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Furthermore, his two BBC series Songs Of The South and Songs Of The Border would receive huge acclaim.
Venue
Liverpool’s Playhouse Theatre is one of the most popular entertainment venues in the whole city. Now, its circular entranceway is instantly recognisable and perfectly central within Williamson Square. But it’s more notable for its diverse offering of shows covering stand-up comedy, serious drama and children’s fun. Not to mention that it’s a great location to allow theatre-goers to enjoy the shops, bars and restaurants in the surrounding city centre. So, if you wish to see a theatre show in Liverpool, we strongly recommend that you pop by to the Playhouse Theatre.
