One of the unfortunate knock-on effects of the Coronavirus and the subsequent lockdown is the closing of all entertainment venues until it is deemed safe for such buildings to re-open. This covers theatres, music halls, comedy clubs and other such establishments.
While we await news on when it will be time for normality to resume, many shows which had been planned between the middle of March and the end of June have been rescheduled. Some will now take place during the second half of 2020, and others have been rearranged until 2021.
The list below shows all of the shows which have been rescheduled as of April 9 2020. There will be further changes to come, and we have also noted the shows which have either been cancelled completely or which are still awaiting new dates. We have only included the shows which have already been or which are definitely called off, meaning that some shows which are currently still listed to take place in May or June of this year have not been completely ruled out. Should upcoming government rulings force those shows in the late spring and early summer to also be cancelled, the venues will make additional changes in turn, which we will make mention of here.
We will be updating this page on a weekly basis for the duration of the outbreak, so keep checking for any additional news.
We will also have a page containing all upcoming listings for the remainder of 2020 and 2021, including those productions which should go ahead as planned.
