Background
About Time is the debut hour of stand-up for the winner of Best Debut Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2020. Now, growing up is hard, though most people can manage it. However, it would take Sian until the age of 27 to grow up. Oh, and everyone was in agreement that it was about time. So, after a rough start to life, in 2010 she would enter a year of adventure, travel, excitement and trouble. Indeed, from the Taj Mahal to her local Tesco, she would experience it all. Furthermore, she would tackle some difficult subjects, like: how should you use a squat toilet? Also, what is Free Food Friday? And most of all, can you really have a gap year if you are working-class? So, this is a coming of age tale about time, growing up and finding your place in this world.

Sian Davies excels as a stand-up comedian, MC, presenter and comedy writer. As a comedy club regular and a frequent award winner, she would quickly make her name on the laughter circuit. Furthermore, since 2018 Sian would be the producer, director and star of five successful Edinburgh Fringe compilation shows. And one of these, Comedy Queers, would grow and sell out an even bigger venue. Additionally, her comedy credits include The Guardian, Chortle and Loose Women, as well as Newsjack on BBC Radio 4 Extra. And some of her sketches are available to hear on And Then She Said A Funny Thing live performance podcast.
