Background
We’re in the town of Little Hope. But the arrival of a new librarian shakes up the lives of the town’s high society. And as a result, they begin to plot both his and the library’s downfall. So, the musical comedy duo Black Liver presents this bizarre and twisted satire. Furthermore, it has a serious message. Namely, that libraries are more vital now than ever before.

Keith Carter and Ruth Cockburn show their diverse talents by both writing and performing in this epic show.
Venue
St. Luke’s Church is more notable amongst Liverpudlians as being the Bombed Out Church. And that’s because of the impact of the Blitz during the Second World War on the church. But its history dates back to its original opening between 1811 and 1832. Furthermore, it remains a cultural landmark for those within the city. And it now acts as a hidden gem for the city with live entertainment and refreshments available for locals. Best of all, it acts as the home base for the Liverpool Theatre Festival.
