This is the story of Anna May Wong. Now, she would have a dramatic rise in personal fortunes. More specifically, she would rise from a laundry girl to one of 1930s Hollywood’s and Europe’s biggest stars. And this show is a tribute to the incredible legacy that she would leave behind. Furthermore, there are many songs and film clips offering up pleasant nostalgia. But with her success would come hardship too. So, this is the tale of her tragic and wonderful life, plus her search for identity. Not to mention her hopes and fears, and the personal sacrifices she would make for the art that she would love.
